Seine Princess

The Seine Valley Cruise (7 Days)

The Seine Princess river cruiser provides comfortable accommodation, for up to 138 passengers, in 67 en suite cabins. Built in 2002, measuring 110 metres in length and 11 metres in width, she has 3 decks, including a spacious sun deck, from where you can watch the passing scenery. Other facilities include a restaurant, serving French inspired cuisine, a lounge bar and gift shop.





Embark the ship in Honfleur.

Day 1: Honfleur

Check in at 18:00 hours and settle into your cabin at leisure. There will be a presentation from the crew. A welcome cocktail will be served in the lounge, followed by dinner on board the ship. Enjoy a free evening.

Day 2: Honfleur - Duclair

After breakfast you may join an optional guided tour of the town and fishing port. Explore the narrow streets lined with attractive houses and salt lofts. Return to the ship for lunch. In the afternoon you can choose to join an optional excursion to Côte Fleurie”, Trouville and Deauville including a tour of a distillery where the famous Calvados is made. Alternatively join an optional Discovery tour visiting Cote Fleurie, Deauville and its artist villas. Your first stop will be Deauville, one of the most prestigious seaside resorts in all of France. Continue on to the Château du Breuil, one of the finest examples of the architectural heritage of the region.

Day 3: Duclair - Rouen

After breakfast you may join an optional guided tour exploring the abbey trail including the abbey of Saint-Wandrille (outdoor), and then on via Jumièges where the ruin of one of the most beautiful abbeys in France can be found, along with the church of Saint Peter, which is one of the most beautiful examples of 10th century Norman architecture. Return to the ship for lunch as the ship sails towards Rouen. Arrive in Rouen early evening and enjoy dinner on board and free time in the city.

Day 4: Rouen - Vernon

Today you will have the opportunity to join a guided tour of the former capital of Normandy, including the historic quarter, the cathedral and the “Place du Vieux Marché” where Joan of Arc was burnt at the stake. Return to the ship for lunch as the cruise continues onto Vernon. Gala dinner on board and overnight stopover in Vernon.

Day 5: Vernon - Paris

Join an optional guided tour of Versaille castle (reservation in advance is essential) Please note that it is closed on Mondays, therefore replaced by the Malmaison castle. Alternatively join a bike tour through Versailles gardens. Return on board in Poissy. The afternoon will be spent cruising through the impressive concrete and glass buildings of the futuristic business district of La Défense. Reach Paris in the evening.

Day 6: Paris

After breakfast, you can spend a full day exploring Paris. You may join an optional panoramic tour through Paris exploring the city's legendary places. Stroll on the banks of the Seine and over the bridges of Paris. You will set out from the Quai de Grenelle for a stroll along the banks of the Seine. Finally you choose to join an optional excursion (not included in the packages): Tour Paris in a vintage 2CV. Experience true vintage style as you cruise in a comfortable and completely refurbished 2CV. It's fun, it's fabulous, and it's so French!

Day 7: Paris

Disembark the ship in Paris around 9.00am.
