Day 2: Molokaʻi
Breakfast brings you to Kaunakakai for a day on Molaka’i to meet its people and experience their culture in a way few visitors ever do. A choice of activities awaits you in Halawa Valley. Discover the culture and history of this ancient homeland at a local museum; take in a cultural lesson in taro patches and poi making or hike to a towering waterfall in Halawa's cathedral valley—one of the island’s most historic places. At the Molokaʻi Museum enjoy an evening pa’ina, or feast, complete with a home-style Hawaiian music 'jam'.

Day 3: Lānaʻi
On Lana’i, the Pineapple Island, you will find coves surrounded by steep rock faces, beaches of white sand and ancient volcanic plugs located both above and below the water. You have a choice of activities today which may include hiking, kayaking, snorkeling or exploring by skiff. Learn about the islands plantation days with a visit to the quaint Lanaʻi Culture and Heritage Centre.

Day 4: Olowalu, West Maui
Arrive at Olowalu, West Maui, a treat for snorkelers with coral gardens teeming with underwater life and a known sea turtle habitat. The Humpback National Marine Sanctuary—located between Lanaʻi, Molokaʻi, and Maui—provides front-row seats as you cruise through these productive marine breeding grounds searching for dolphins, whales, and other marine life.

Day 5: Captain’s Choice Exploration
This morning spend some time on deck with the Captain and Expedition Leaders who will seek out the best opportunities for searching for whales and other marine mammals. Dramatic volcanic backdrops, marine life sightings, and chances for snorkeling, kayaking, and paddle boarding are all possible!

Day 6: Honomalino Bay
Today's port of call is Honomalino Bay where you can enjoy a morning of snorkeling, paddle boarding and kayaking. This bay boasts some magnificent marine life and today you can enjoy the sight of colourful corals, sea turtles, sponges and tropical fish. Lava tubes, kayaking, and skiff tours fill out your day of adventure—in an area known to be favored by marine mammals. In the evening the Captain will drop anchor at an offshore location so that you can snorkel with great pacific manta rays.

Day 7: Kailua-Kona
Skiff to Kealakekua Bay, where Captain Cook was slain in 1779, for some of the island’s best snorkeling. At Kailua-Kona, stroll through town at your own pace, and uncover the charm of this historic town. This evening, celebrate with the Captain’s Dinner and photographic recap of your adventure.

Day 8: Hawaii, the Big Island
The Safari Explorer docks at Kawaihae Harbour this morning and you will disembark here for your onward transfer.
