Embark the ship in San Diego.

Day 1: San Diego

Arrive in the southern city of San Diego located south of California, close to the border with Mexico. Board Le Soleal in San Diego. You will have time to explore your cabin and new surroundings. Later you will join fellow guests for the captains first dinner, drinks and evening entertainment.

Days 2-3: At Sea

Spend the next two days at sea as Le Soleal gently sails towards Cabo San Lucas, located at the southern tip of the Baja California Peninsula. Enjoy the ship's fantastic amenities including the onboard Spa.

Day 4: Cabo San Lucas

Spend the day relaxing in this beautiful Mexican beach resort located on the Baja California Peninsular. The resort is famous for its rock formation emerging from the ocean and its magnificent white sand beaches, the small town also has lively nightlife.

Day 5: Coronado Island - Danzante Island

Spend the morning exploring Coronado Island, an uninhabited and designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site among the islands and protected areas of the Gulf of California, the island is home to extremely rich biodiversity. Join a snorkelling trip and be amazed by the underwater marine life including sea lions, sea turtles and multi-coloured fish. In the afternoon the ship sails to Dazante Island, a small island measuring scarcely 5 km2, that will take you on a marvellous journey into nature of magical beauty. Located on the western side of the island you find beautiful white sandy beaches. If you cut inland via the many hiking paths it will enable you to discover the surrounding fauna and flora. During a snorkelling trip, you’ll also be able to explore the underwater world teeming with many endemic species.

Day 6: Monserrat Island - Puerto Agua Verde

Take a Zodiac ride to the island of Monserrat, one of the islands that form the Bahía de Loreto Maritime National Park. Created in 1996 and covering more than 2,000 km2 in the heart of the Sea of Cortez, this park offers many panoramas: rocky shorelines, underwater canyons, mangroves, sea cliffs…It will also be the departure point for another amazing snorkelling trip. To the south of the Bahía de Loreto Maritime National Park, the largest protected area in the Gulf of California, discover Puerto Agua Verde, with its superb rocky formations and its almost surreally coloured waters.

Day 7: Punta Colorada - Bahia Amortajada, San Jose Island

Arrive at the wonderful island of San Jose, located north of the Bay of La Paz. Your first stop is Punta Colorada on the western side boasting huge red and ochre coloured cliffs which you can admire from the Zodiac dinghy. Inland admire the cacti and the underwater world has an unforgettable show in store for you, with angel fish, butterfly fish and damsel fish. Further south, in Bahia Amortajada, your expedition team will lead you into the heart of the mangrove forests to discover completely unspoilt nature.

Day 8: Los Islotes - Isla Partida - Espíritu Santo

In the morning journey by Zodiac dinghy to observe a large colony of Sea Lions which reside on the rocky islets to the south west of the California Bay. You will have the possibility of swimming alongside them: a moving experience. The jewels of the Sea of Cortez, the twin islands of Espíritu Santo and La Partida will reveal the splendour of landscape that is designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Only accessible by boat, they will reveal to you the beauty of their sheer cliffs, turquoise bays and stunning beaches. La Partida is particularly rich in secret viewpoints from which you’ll be able to admire exceptional panoramas. Lastly the island of Espíritu Santo, has an exceptionally well-preserved ecosystem that enables the observation of exceptional fauna and flora.

Day 9: Cerralvo Island

Located at the entrance of the Gulf of California, this land of intact beauty is home to superb jagged cliffs and many sandy beaches. The underwater reliefs and surrounding ocean currents have fostered the development of extremely rich marine life. During a snorkelling trip, you may thus perhaps meet golden groupers, sailfish or marlins.

Days 10-11: At Sea

Spend the next two days at sea as the ship sails towards Huatulco, Mexico.

Day 12: Huatulco

Spend the day in Huatulco, a seaside resort on the Mexican Pacific coast in the southern State of Oaxaca. You will be spoilt for choice with no less than 36 beaches to choose from! In addition to the beautiful bays and beaches, you can explore and shop in the small communities of the Huatulco area, such as La Crucecita, Santa Cruz or old Santa Maria Huatulco.

Day 13: At Sea

Spend the day at sea as the ship sails toward Guatemala.

Day 14: Puerto Quetzal

Your voyage ends in Puerto Quetzal, Guatemala, the largest port in the country. Close to the city, the ravishing little old city of Antigua, is a former colonial capital listed as World Heritage by UNESCO. You’ll admire the wealth of its historical monuments.


Disembark the ship in Puerto Quetzal, Guatemala.
