Day 1: Venice

Join the Le Lyrial in the unique city of Venice this afternoon. There will be time to settle in to your stateroom or suite before the ship departs. Tonight, join the Captain for a welcome cocktail and dinner on board.

Day 2: Korcula

Today’s port of call is the island of Korcula, often considered the most beautiful and interesting of the Dalmatian islands. The town of Korcula itself is a mini fortress, where white stone towers stand out against the red roofs of the surrounding buildings and architectural gems are to be found in narrow, cobbled streets.

Day 3: Sibenik - Split

This morning Le Lyrial pulls into the lively little city of Sibenik, one of the best protected harbours on the Adriatic. Explore at leisure or join an optional excursion to the Krka National Park and its spectacular waterfalls. In the afternoon travel along the Dalmatian coast to the ancient and cosmopolitan city of Split, once an imperial residence and home to the Diocletian's Palace. Join one of a number of optional excursions on offer, including visiting the UNESCO protected Diocletian Palace which is the heart of the city.

Day 4: Dubrovnik

Today the ship glides along the coast to the maritime town of Dubrovnik. Here you can explore the stone-studded streets at leisure or join an optional walking tour, taking shade underneath the sun-baked red roofs, and walk through the history of this once independent republic. Explore the many quaint corridors that criss-cross through the squares, walk along the Dubrovnik walls. A more interesting way to explore the city is on an optional tour, in a kayak. You will set off on a tour that skirts the city’s famous city walls, taking in fortresses, caves and islands along the way.

Day 5: Kotor (Montenegro)

Arrive in the city of Kotor, Montenegro. From here you can embark on an optional excursion to Perast, an amazing town with almost the same number of churches as the number of inhabitants. You will also take a short boat journey to the man-made islet of Our Lady of the Rocks.

Day 6: Hvar (Croatia)

This morning the ship docks at Hvar, one of the most beautiful islands on the Dalmatian Coast. Protected from the wind by Mount Saint Nicolas, the town is encircled by ramparts and offers travellers many remarkable monuments such as the elegant cathedral. You may join an optional walking tour of the charming Hvar Town, located around a small natural harbor, is one of the most popular seaside resorts. Alternatively join an optional island tour and discover its rich history which has given rise to many cultural and natural monuments or an optional sailing tour visitng places rarely visited by tourists sometimes even unknown to some locals, in anycase places off the beaten tracks as they are not within easy access by regular tour activities.

Day 7: Pula - Rovinj

The Croatian city of Pula invites you on a journey back in time to visit ancient ruins that seem to have survived the centuries without ageing. An exceptional architectural heritage and a timeless beauty combine to make Pula a fascinating port of call. During the early afternoon, continue along the Istrian Peninsula to Rovinj, a charming old fishing port where narrow streets lead down to a marina which is home to both traditional fishing boats and modern yachts.

Day 8: Venice

Your voyage ends in Venice where you will disembark.
