Le Commandant Charcot

Discovering the Northeast Greenland National Park - with National Geographic

Le Commandant-Charcot's inaugural cruise departs in May 2021. She is the world's first luxury polar exploration vessel, and enjoys a unique sailing experience in the Arctic or Antarctic! With its hybrid propulsion combining liquefied natural gas (LNG) and electric generators, Le Commandant-Charcot has been designed to minimise the environmental impact of travel to the furthest latitudes. The vessel has been elegantly designed using subtle tones and its decor of stone, wood and leather recall the natural environment in which the ship is sailing. She accommodates guests in 135 luxurious staterooms and suites. Expect outstanding gastronomy in the two restaurants and wonderful relaxation areas including two lounges and bars. Guests may also indulge in the amenities on the sundeck including an indoor swimming pool surrounded by a winter garden, sauna and snow room. A Spa, beauty and fitness room and outdoor pool.

Embark the ship in Reykjavík.
