Embark the ship in Reykjavik.

Day 1: Reykjavik

Embark the ship today in Reykjavik between 16:00-17;00 hrs. Settle into your cabin and explore the onboard amenities as the vessel moors overnight in Reykjavik. Enjoy your first gourmet dinner.

Day 2: Reykjavik

Discover Iceland’s most beautiful city, which was founded by the Vikings in 874 and still retains its natural wonders. Fields of lava and the famous Blue Lagoon, an enormous natural swimming pool, are just minutes away from the city and well worth a visit if you have time. A number of optional excursions are available including visiting the big three, also known as the Golden Circle: the Gulfoss Waterfall, Geysir and Thingvellir UNESCO World Heritage Site. Alternatively explore the geothermal landscape and Viking landscape.

Day 3: At Sea

Spend the day at sea as the ship sails towards Prins Christian Sund.

Day 4: Passing Prins Christian Sund

Today the ship sails around Prins Christian Sund, a waterway in Southern Greenland. The long fjord system is mostly surrounded by steep mountains reaching over 1200 m height and you will observe a number of magnificent glaciers falling into the waters.

Day 5: Narsaq

Arrive at Narsaq, Greenland, the gateway for visiting Qassiarsuk at the exact spot where Erik the Red went ashore more than 1000 years ago and established his seat of power at Brattahlid. Alternatively you may wish to join an optional kayaking excursion amongst the icebergs.

Day 6: Nuuk

Arrive at Nuuk, the capital of Greenland. Here you can explore the old town, home to the National Museum. Its collections cover the 4.500 years old history of Greenland and derive from all parts of the country. Amongst its exhibits are the four 600- year-old mummies found in Qilakitsoq in the northern part of the country.

Day 7: Sailing along the western coast of Greenland

Today the ship will sail along the western coast of Greenland where its possible to observe incredible glaciers, icebergs and dark glistening fjords. Scattered along its coast are a number of villages where visitors can observe a traditional hunting and fishing way of life.

Day 8: Eqi Glacier - Paul Emile Victor Base Camp

Today the ship follows the path of the greatest French arctic explorer, Paul Emilie Victor to Ice Camp Eqi. You will be able to view the impressive Eqi Glacier, one of the most active glaciers in Greenland as it is constantly breaking ice pieces into the fjord. Here the silence is broken by roaring and cracking of the ice.

Day 9: Ilulissat

Today you will arrive at the modern town of Ilulissat, which sits approximately 200km above the Arctic Circle, at the mouth of a 56km long ice fjord. The UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to the famous Disko Bay. You may join an unforgettable excursion aboard a local boat to discover the river ice which displays amazing colours as the sun's rays shifts through the day. Here you can celebrate the immensity of Greenland's landscapes. An optional helicopter flight over the glacier can also be prebooked and prepaid at least 60 days prior to cruise.

Day 10: Evighedsfjorden

Arrive at Evighedsfjorden, also known as the Fjord of Eternity, situated nearby to Qingârssuk and Torssût. Admire the sheer beauty of the fjord and surrounding mountains and glaciers.

Day 11: Kangerlussuaq - Paris

Disembark after breakfast and bid farewell to your Captain, crew and Le Boreal. Transfer to the airport for your return flight to Paris.


Disembark the ship in Kangerlussuaq. Transfer to the airport and board flight to Paris.
