Kindat Pandaw

Pagan to Mandalay Short Upstream Cruise (3 Days)

The Kathaw Pandaw is a stylish river cruise ship full of character and comfort and named after a small Upper Chindwin town. The ship offers journeys on the Irrawaddy River between Bagan and Mandalay where life moves at a slower pace but is considered to be one of the most cultured places in the world. On board there are 18 spacious teak cabins with en suite private facilities located on the Main and Upper Decks boasting colonial style décor. The ship has an bistro style dining room and outdoor lounge and bar on the Upper Deck where you can relax and socialize with fellow guests.

Day 1: Pagan

Upon arrival in Pagan, one of the richest archaeological sites in the world, make your way to the Pagan Irra Jetty where the Kindat Pandaw is moored. Check in at 11:30hrs for a noon departure. Settle into your cabin and later enjoy an afternoon tour of Pakokku by trishaw.

Day 2: Yandabo

Arrive in Yandabo where you may enjoy a morning walk around the pottery village and visit the Pandaw school.

Day 3: Mandalay

Arrive in Mandalay, a bustling city brimming with markets, monasteries and pagodas. It’s time to say goodbye to your crew, fellow passengers and the Kindat Pandaw today. Disembarkation takes place from 10:00hrs.
