Johanna

The six passenger Johanna was converted in 2013 into a luxury hotel ship furnished in a contemporary style, full of light and views of its surroundings. The Johanna has three cabins with en-suite bathrooms, a spacious living room with lounge, a gallery kitchen and a large sundeck offering comfortable and relaxing cruises on the rivers and canals of France and Belgium. The Johanna itineraries offer themed cruises in Belgian and cover the Upper Loire regions, the Champagne region, the Somme Valley and a 14 Day cruise from Bruges to Paris where guests can immerse themselves in the history, culture and natural surroundings. The barge has six bicycles on board which allow you to explore the region and enjoy cycling the canal paths which run parallel to your cruise routes. Cycling maps and a mobile GPS are also available. Guests can enjoy daily delicious meals using fresh local ingredients prepared by your onboard chef and served with a selection of Belgian beers and French wines.

Her chef prepares delicious meals with fresh local ingredients, served with a selection of Belgian beers and French wines. 6 Bikes, bycicle maps, a GPS and plenty of information is available to let you discover every city we visit or explore the countryside along our routes. Operating in France and Belgium, the Johanna offers several thematic cruises: - Flanders Fields: Brugges-Nieuwpoort-Diksmuide-Ypres-Veurne discovering the WorldWAr I area of Flanders. - Chocolate & Beer: Veurne to Bruges, discovering a nice countryside with local breweries, chocolate factories and gorgeous meals on board. - Art Cities: Bruges-Ghent-Dendermonde-Mechelen-Leuven or back. Plenty of time to see the old masters and the Unesco World heritage sites. - Ships Elevators and small gems: Bruges-Ghent-Oudenaarde-Doornik-Blaton-Thieu-Halle (Brussels). A cruise along some less known picturesque historic cities, the castle of Beloeil and use of the most impressive hydraulic architectural wonders of ships elevators, locks and inclined planes.
