Day 1: Balta Airport - Santa Cruz Island

Arrive at Balta Airport and transfer by ferry to Santa Cruz Island. You will then take a 30 minute bus journey to a local restaurant in the Highlands of Santa Cruz. Late afternoon stroll along the main street of Puerto Ayora before embarking on Yacht Isabela II.

Day 2: Santa Fe Island - South Plaza Island

Arrive at a stunning white sandy beach, home to a large population of sea lions and Galápagos hawks are often easily observed, perched atop salt bushes. The endemic land iguana, unique to this island, may be spotted during the walk. You may also enjoy swimming, snorkelling and kayaking here. In the afternoon arrive at South Plaza Island where you will find along its coastline, sea lion colonies and sea birds playing with the thermals that form along the cliffs of this small but amazing island.

Day 3: North Seymour Island - Las Bachas (Santa Cruz Island)

This morning the ship will cruise towards North Seymour Island where you will disembark (dry landing) for a walk along the coast and the interior of the island, observing bird colonies of blue footed boobies, frigate birds, swallow tailed gulls and also sea lions and marine iguanas. Here you may snorkel, kayak and also ride in the glass-bottom boat for great views of the underwater world. In the afternoon arrive at Las Bachas an important nesting area for the east Pacific green sea turtle. It boasts a wonderful white sand beach, with several brackish lagoons only a few steps away from the sea. These lagoons are the feeding grounds of various wading birds, from stilts to flamingos. Enjoy snorkelling and swimming here.

Day 4: Bartolomé Island - Sullivan Bay (James Island)

Disembark at Bartolome Island for a steep hike up to the summit. The view from the top makes the effort of the hike worthwhile!
