Impressionniste

Burgundy Cruise from Fleurey sur Ouche to Escommes (7 Days)

L'Impressionniste is a former Dutch cargo barge that was refurbished to a luxurious 12 passenger hotel barge. Having undergone a complete transformation, L'Impressionniste is today a powerful canal and river cruiser boasting elegant turn-of the-century décor, such as prints fabric and wall colorings. Other features on board include spacious cabins with en suite marble facilities, sundeck and spa pool.

Info

Comfortable and stylish, L’Impressionniste is a powerful canal and river cruise ship originally designed in Holland as a cargo barge. Today this vessel carries up to 12 passengers in comfortable luxury and style. Interior space includes a dining area and saloon with an airy feel thanks to large picture windows and carefully selected prints, fabrics and wall colorings. Outside, take in the fresh air and beautiful scenery from the sun-deck with lounge chairs and spa pool. If you need to stretch your legs, you will have the chance to bike or walk along side the ship at various points.

All inclusive meals are prepared by a master chef who incorporates regional specialties such as Filet d'Agneau au Basilic, Magret de Canard and Poulet à L'Estragon. Fine, local wines are served with lunch and dinner and complimented by a cheese board featuring Aisy Cendré, Bouton de Culotte, Epoisses and Ami du Chambertin. Additionally, the all inclusive bar is always open.

Guests enjoy camaraderie with one another and the ship’s small staff, as well as music, board games and a small library. Dress is typically “smart casual,” though the Captain’s Dinner calls for formal attire.
