Hidden Worlds 2 Day Cruise

The Ginger launched in June 2018 and sails Lan Ha Bay, a quiet extension of the famed UNESCO Heritage Site Halong Bay. Like her sister ships Jasmine and Violet, the interior design of Ginger is exquisite - a stunning Indochinese-Vietnamese heritage theme paired with refined contemporary accents. Ginger has only 12 spacious, natural light-flooded Suites - all with wide panorama sliding glass doors opening onto a private balcony with magnificent views. One of the highlights of the boat is its terrace deck, a remarkable public area hosting an almost 360-degree light-flooded restaurant where live cooking is performed. The Terrace Deck has a swimming pool surrounded by by shaded cabanas and sun beds and there is a large onboard spa with three treatment rooms offering a range of relaxing and revitalizing treatments. The vessel’s true uniqueness is her refined culinary attitude combined with a refreshing lifestyle component.

Embark the ship in Cat Hai.

Day 1: Cat Ba Island

Board the boat and enjoy a welcome drink as you settle into your luxurious surroundings and attend a welcome briefing. Start your unique journey of exploring one of the new wonders of nature – Lan Ha Bay. Enjoy lunch in Ginger’s light-flooded dining room offering panoramic views of the passing scenery. Along the cruise you can see an ancient lighthouse, built by the French over 100 years ago. Head deeper and further south into the maze of Lan Ha Bay. Lan Ha Bay is actually a part of Halong Bay which was just recently opened to the public. There will be time to enjoy the ship's amenities including the pool and spa before the boat arrives at Cat Ba Island where you will hop on bikes (electric car available) for an active tour along small paved roads towards a village nestled in a valley. Meet and greet local inhabitants doing their daily work, see their homes and the village school. Later return to the boat and participate in an interactive cooking class in the open kitchen at the restaurant. Learn about local ingredients, preparation and cooking of particular dishes to imitate easily at home. The evening is yours to relax and enjoy dinner and cocktails after a full day's activities.

Day 2: Tra Bau

Wake up early and join the Tai Chi session on the sun deck followed by breakfast. Cruise to Tra Bau, a secluded spot which is perfect for your morning excursion. In kayaks or bamboo boats enjoy exploring the bay. Paddling through the dreamlike landscape with tree-topped islands, you will feel a sense of freedom and harmony with nature that you have never experienced before. Return to the boat for a hearty breakfast as the ship journeys back to the pier arriving around 11 o’clock in the morning.
