Diana

The Diana was built at the Finnboda shipyard outside Stockholm and launched in 1931. There are 28 cabins today distributed over three decks. The dining room and lounge are found on the middle or shelter deck and the upper or bridge deck boasts a covered aft deck with a perfect view in both sun and rain. The tastefully fitted cabins are small, but cozy, leaving an impression of how people once traveled.

Info

Dining Room

Dining Room

The dining room on the Diana is joined to the lounge, separated by glass doors; it is stylishly furnished with hardwood framing, brass details, patterned wallpaper and textiles inspired by the Jugend period. Elegantly set with white linen tablecloths, your table assignment is the same throughout the journey. The dishes are tastefully presented and are the result of our striving to make the menus as well composed and varied so that everyone will find something to suit their palate.

Lounge

Lounge

On the M/S Diana, the lounge is built as one with the dining room, even down to the furniture. And there is even a real bar. The lounge is always open to guests of the ship. There are comfortable sofas and books available from a small onboard library. Guests are invited to sit back relax and take in the scenery, read a paper or play some games. The ship’s kiosk is here as well, stocked with postal cards, souvenirs and the like.

Outdoor Seating Area

Onboard the ship there is an outdoor seating area, where guests can enjoy a drink while relaxing in comfy chairs as the picturesque landscape passes them by.
