Adriatic Discovery Cruise from Split to Dubrovnik

The Diamond is a new luxury small ship cruiser recently added to the fleet. She measures 40 metres in length and has just 20 double cabins as well as spacious and contemporary living areas including a restaurant, bar, outdoor lounge and sundeck with jacuzzi. There is also a rear access swimming platform to the sea as well as ladders for easy access to the water. The Diamond sails spends her summer sailing around the coast of Croatia from Split to Dubrovnik and visiting many islands in between.

Day 1: Split

Group transfer from Split airport to Split harbour where you will be welcomed by the cruise representative. After settling into your cabin join a guided walking tour of Split. Stroll the streets and learn many interesting facts that make this unique town’s history full of intrigue. Take part of the story of this more than 1700 years old town, founded by the Roman emperor Diocletian who chose this beautiful place as his retirement residence. Return to the ship for a Welcome Reception. Overnight in Split.

Day 2: Bol - Hvar

Early morning the ship sets sail for the island of Brac where a swimming stop is planned at Zlatni Rat beach, a long, pebbly beach near Bol that protrudes over 500m out into the Adriatic Sea. Later continue to the island of Hvar, undeniably among the most beautiful islands in Croatia. Here you will join a guided tour visiting many of the historical sites and attractions. Your evening is free to explore this amazing holiday spot by yourself.

Day 3: Hvar - Bisevo (Blue Cave) - Vis

Set sail early morning for the island Vis. En-route you will stop at the island Biševo to see a stunning natural phenomenon – the Blue Cave. The Blue cave is famous all over the world for its extraordinary, magical, indescribable silver-blue light. Continue to the island of Vis known for its natural beauty and and people seeking new adventures. Spend the evening here.

Day 4: Vis - Korcula

Early morning departure for the island of Korčula, rich in vineyards, olive groves and small villages with numerous bays and coves. Swim stop in one of the peaceful bays, perfect to enjoy the beautiful atmosphere of the unspoiled nature, lush vegetation and crystal clear sea. Lunch on board. Explore the historical city in the afternoon on a guided tour. The evening is yours free to enjoy the many delights of this attractive vibrant city.

Day 5: Korcula - Mljet

Today the ship departs for the green island of Mljet. The most forested island in the Adriatic and one of the most beautiful pearls of the Mediterranean. Mljet is also well known for its two saltwater lakes - Veliko and Malo Jezer. Join the cruise manager on an optional tour of the National Park and find out why the Greek hero Ulysses considered it his favourite holiday spot. Captain’s dinner on board.

Day 6: Mljet - Slano

Early in the morning we depart to Slano, a small town indented into a 2km long bay. From here you will start your gastro adventure towards Ston, the gastronomic center of the county. This town with the longest walls in Europe is situated near Dubrovnik and is surrounded by breathtaking scenery which, together with the picturesque city architecture, forms a harmonic entity. Visit an oyster farm where you will learn how oysters and mussels are cultivated in this region, and why they are so delicious. You will enjoy a rustic oyster and mussel tasting with local wine under the shade of the trees.

Day 7: Dubrovnik

Early in the morning depart to Elaphiti Islands with plenty of time for swimming along the way. As the ship continues towards Dubrovnik, enjoy the lunch while sailing alongside the old city walls. This is the perfect time for you to make some magnificent photos and memories that will last a lifetime. After docking join a guided tour of the Old Town.

Day 8: Dubrovnik

After your final breakfast aboard the Diamond, disembark the ship in Dubrovnik.
