Embark

Embark the ship in Split.

Day 1: Split

Arrive in Split, and check in from 1pm this afternoon. Settle into your cabin and meet the crew and other guests. Set sail along the Dalmatian coast towards Makarska whilst enjoying your lunch. Afternoon swim at one of the wonderful beaches. If you are feeling adventurous join an optional river rafting on the streams of the Cetina river or adrenaline pumping zipline over Cetina river canyon and meet the ship again in Makarska. Overnight in Makarska, which boasts many restaurants and bars and a beautiful promenade along the famous beach. Be sure to take a walk along the city streets –with abundance of churches and other cultural sites.

Day 2: Makarska - Hvar (Bol) - Stari Grad

The next stop on your cruise will be the island of Brac. You will have some time to take a dip off one of the most famous beaches in Dalmatia – Zlatni Rat - near Bol. Bol is a typical fisherman’s town which has now developed into a popular tourist destination. After a swimming break continue towards Stari Grad on the Hvar island, the sunniest Adriatic island. Spend your afternoon exploring this unique town. The famous Stari Grad Field is the oldest in Croatia and the best preserved example of ancient Greek system of agriculture. Together with the old town it is a part of world heritage protected by UNESCO.

Day 3: Stari Grad - Hvar

Continue towards Hvar, the longest island in the Adriatic. After lunch, stop for swimming, relaxing and refreshment in clear, crystal blue sea at nearby Paklinski islands. Arrive in the afternoon in Hvar. Here there is the magnificent, Renaissance cathedral with its original tower; also the oldest community theatre in Europe which was founded here in 1612. You may join a guided tour or explore at leisure. The city is home to a variety of restaurants, bars and cafes and you will be able to spend your evening sampling the local cuisine.

Day 4: Hvar (Blue Cave) - Vis

Today the ship cruises towards the little island of Biševo where you can visit the Blue cave, a magnificent natural phenomenon (weather dependent). Entrance to Blue Cave is to be paid on the spot (approx. EUR 10.-per person). The cruise continues to the island of Vis, which has unique geographical position and was once a strategic harbour for the Yugoslav navy –it was closed to the public until recently. Because of this very isolation, Vis retained a special charm of ‘the Mediterranean as it once was’ which makes it really interesting to see. Overnight in Vis.

Day 5: Vis - Korcula

Your cruise continues towards Korcula, the birthplace of famous explorer and adventurer Marco Polo. Upon arrival you may join an optional guided tour of Korčula, a city surrounded by ancient walls and fortified bastions. The old town is very well preserved with its layout and structure dating back to 13th century. Enjoy the numerous konobas / taverns, restaurants, cocktail bars or night-club located within and around the city walls. Overnight in port.

Day 6: Korcula - Mljet - Sipan or Slano

Continue cruising towards one of the greenest islands in the Adriatic, Mljet. Enjoy some free time to visit the salt lakes in the National Park and enjoy the sun and sea on this peaceful little island. Here you can visit an old abbey and church or just use a small boat to roam around the National Park. Bicycles can also be hired to cycle around the paths that surround the lakes. Set sail along the Dalmatian coast either on one of the Elaphiti islands -Šipan, or to the small village Slano on the mainland. Both are peaceful fishermen's villages where there is often a fabulous sunset. Enjoy the Captain's Dinner aboard the ship.

Day 7: Sipan or Slano - Dubrovnik

Early in the morning the ship departs towards your final destination, Dubrovnik –a true pearl of the Adriatic. After lunch enjoy a short swim stop. After arriving in the city, join a guided tour followed by an optional cable car ride up to Srđ mountain for spectacular views of the old town. Perhaps later enjoy a stroll along the city walls, 1940 meters in length with magnificent views of the old town of Dubrovnik and the surrounding islands. Overnight in Dubrovnik.
