Dubrovnik Wine Cruise

The Croatian Coastal Cruise fleet offers relaxing, scenic cruises around the glittering Dalmatian coastline. The fleet comprises of six different categories of ship. The new Premium category are steel hulled vessels measuring between 29 to 35 metres in length, with a modern traditional look. The spacious air-conditioned cabins have en-suite bathrooms. Vessels of this category all feature spacious amenities including a sundeck, lounge and dining room. Services included: buffet breakfasts, three course lunches, Captain’s dinner, English speaking tour manager on board, one guided tour, daily cabin service, mid-week fresh set of towels and bed linen, luggage handling.





Embark the ship in Dubrovnik.

Day 1: Dubrovnik

Arrive in Gruz Harbour, Dubrovnik, and check in from 1pm this afternoon. Settle into your cabin and meet the crew and other guests. Enjoy the afternoon exploring the city on your own. The ship remains moored in Dubrovnik for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Dubrovnik - Trstenik

After breakfast join a guided tour of Dubrovnik. Return to the ship around noon for lunch as the ship cruises towards Trstenik. Trstenik is a village and harbour located on the southern coast of the island of Pelješac. The Pelješac peninsula is known for wine producing and you will be able to see many grape fields on the slopes of surrounding hills. Your final stop for today will be at the Matuško winery in the village of Potomje within the Pelješac wine growing hills. This is the largest and the most famous winery on Peljesac peninsula which produces the Plavac Mali wine, which is a close relative of the Zinfandel in California and the Italian Primitivo. Here you can enjoy wine tasting and a light dinner. Overnight on board.

Day 3: Trstenik - Vela Luka

After breakfast the ship cruises towards the western area of Korčula island. Explore the town of Vela Luka, which boasts a mild climate and an abundance of olive groves and fig trees. A few kilometers from the centre of Vela Luka you will find traces of an early human settlement at the "Vela Spila" cave. Tonight enjoy the Captain's dinner on board with overnight mooring in Vela luka port.

Day 4: Vela Luka - Hvar

Early morning departure towards the Paklenski islands in front of Hvar town where there will be enough time to relax and refresh in the clean, crystal blue sea. Arrive in Hvar after lunch, the longest island in the Adriatic. Hvar has numerous cafes, restaurants and bars, a Renaissance cathedral with its original tower and is also home to the oldest community theatre in Europe, founded in 1612. In the afternoon you will visit the Tomić winery for wine tasting. The wine maker Andro Tomić will offer you some of his native Hvar wines and some cuvees like the innovative combination of Plavac Mali & Cabernet Sauvignon. Overnight in Hvar port.

Day 5: Hvar - Korcula

This morning the ship sails to Korčula, the birthplace of Marco Polo. Enjoy lunch on board and a swimming break in one of the bays en-route. Arrive in Korčula in the afternoon where you will later visit hotel Korsal's wine cellar and taste some of the famous Croatian wines and a light snack. Overnight in Korčula port.

Day 6: Korcula - Mljet

After breakfast your cruise continues to the island of Mljet. Admire the islands natural scenery while you enjoy lunch on board. Early in the afternoon your ship arrives at the northern end of the island, where Mljet National Park is located. Spend the afternoon walking around the two saltwater lakes here which are surrounded by lush forest. In the middle of the large lake, inside the National park, you can visit the Franciscan monastery and church on St. Mary isle. You’ll also have the opportunity to rent a bicycle to cycle around the paths that surround the lakes. There are lots of nice small restaurants in close proximity to the ship one can choose to enjoy a quaint seafront restaurant with open fires grilling freshly caught fish! Overnight in port Polača/Pomena.

Day 7: Mljet - Dubrovnik

As you enjoy breakfast the ship sails towards Dubrovnik, marvel at the beautiful natural sights along the way. Arrive back in Dubrovnik at approximately 2pm. Late afternoon you will visit the Konavle area and Crvik winery to sample a native Dalmatian wine sort ‘’Maraština''. Overnight in the Gruz port.

Day 8: Dubrovnik

After your final breakfast, disembark the ship in Dubrovnik.

  • Please note that while sales taxes are included in the cost of the cruise, there is a compulsory visitor tax of EUR 40 per person per week, which cannot be paid in advance and which will be collected at the start of your cruise
