One Way Wonders from Split to Dubrovnik 8 Day Cruise

The Croatian Coastal Cruise fleet offers relaxing, scenic cruises around the glittering Dalmatian coastline. The fleet comprises of six different categories of ship. The brand new Deluxe Superior category boasts newer and larger vessels measuring at least 47 metres in length and built with high quality materials of solid wood, glass, marble, stainless steel and similar. The vessels are all either newly built or refurbished in 2016 with hot tubs and spacious, superbly designed, air-conditioned en-suite cabins with double or twin beds, 15 to 20 meters in size. Vessels of this category all feature spacious amenities including a sundeck, lounge and indoor and outdoor dining areas. As well as offering higher standard accommodation, cruises on Category Deluxe Superior also include Airport transfers, seven buffet breakfasts and seven four course lunches, drink with lunch, Captain's dinner with live music, dinner in a typical Croatian setting, sightseeing's, English speaking tour manager, various entrance fees, various tastings, Visitors' tax & port fees, luggage handling and a daily cabin service.

Embark the ship in Split.

Day 1: Split

You will be met at Split airport and transferred to the Split port for check in from 14.00h onwards. After settling into your cabin, enjoy a guided tour of Split, an historic town which has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here you can see a wealth of Roman architecture and you will visit the famous Diocletian Palace. Return to the ship in time for a welcome cocktail. The ship will remain in Split overnight.

Day 2: Split - Hvar (Bol)

This morning the ship will stop at the island of Brac where you will visit the picturesque town of Bol. Take a stroll along the promenade and swim at one of the region's most famous beaches, Zlatni Rat, or the 'Golden Cape'. Continue onto the jet-set island Hvar with a swim stop and lunch on board at the Pakleni Islands. Arrive in sunny Hvar in the afternoon on a tour of the town’s historical landmarks.The longest island in Adriatic is known for its lavender fields and breathtaking beauty. Hike up to the town fort overlooking the harbour to get some lovely scenic views of your ship and the Pakleni islands. In the evening Hvar offers an abundance of entertainment - numerous restaurants, bars and cafes are open long into the night. Overnight in the port.

Day 3: Hvar - Vis

Early morning cruise to the small island of Biševo where you will visit the Blue cave, a natural phenomenon (depending on weather conditions). Continue onto Vis Island, once a strategic naval Yugoslav base and closed to the public. Due to this isolation, Vis has a special charm – “the Mediterranean as it once was” making it really interesting to visit. Vis town, situated on the northern side of the island, has developed near the remains of the ancient Issa, first urban centre in Croatia. Here you can try some exquisite wine sorts in one of the Vis traditional wineries. If interested, visit the remains of the Roman thermal place, City museum or simply take a walk enjoying the views of the beautiful Village Rusticae situated along the waterfront.

Day 4: Vis - Korcula

Early morning departure for the island of Korcula, said to be the birthplace of Marco Polo. En route the Captain will drop anchor in a secluded bay where you will enjoy lunch. Arrive into Korcula in the early afternoon and take a guided walk of the town, with its fortified walls and herringbone pattern streets. There is an optional excursion to a small village near Korčula for typical Dalmatian dinner where you can learn about the history and traditional way of living. Korcula has an abundance of restaurants where you can dine tonight and there are plenty of bars for those in search of nightlife.

Day 5: Korcula - Mljet

This morning the ship heads south to the island of Mljet. Join the Cruise Manager for a walk to the salt lakes within the Mljet National Park and enjoy a boat ride to St Mary Isle, home to an ancient Benedictine monastery. Alternatively you can choose to rent kayaks, bikes, scooters or jeeps to explore the park on your own. Dinner onboard and overnight in port Polača or Pomena.

Day 6: Mljet - Slano

Depart in the morning and cruise to the small village of Slano on the mainland. Enjoy the magical scenery during breakfast as the ship cruises around Dubrovnik city walls before heading to one of the Elaphiti islands for a swim stop. In the afternoon arrive at the quiet fishin village of Slano, your starting point for Ston, once a fortified small village famous for its oysters. After exploring the town’s medieval ramparts a short coastal walk leads to an oyster farm to learn more about oysters and tasting this delicious treat. The evening is reserved for the Captain’s farewell dinner with entertainment and music.

Day 7: Slano - Dubrovnik

Spend the day in Dubrovnik, a beautiful town in the heart of the Adriatic. The special charm of this ancient town are the buildings that have remained from the time of the old Dubrovnik Republic. A larger part of the monuments belonging to the modest Renaissance architecture with some traces of the Gothic style. Cruise alongside the old Dubrovnik city walls while lunch is served on deck. Cameras to be ready! After docking, transfer to the old town for the guided walking tour of this magical town. Enjoy a cable car ride from the Old Town to Srđ mountain to take in the beautiful scenic views of the Walls and Elaphiti Islands.

Day 8: Dubrovnik

Disembark the ship in Dubrovnik after breakfast and transfer to Dubrovnik airport.
