Deluxe Superior - Dubrovnik Wine Cruise

The Croatian Coastal Cruise fleet offers relaxing, scenic cruises around the glittering Dalmatian coastline. The fleet comprises of six different categories of ship. The brand new Deluxe Superior category boasts newer and larger vessels measuring at least 47 metres in length and built with high quality materials of solid wood, glass, marble, stainless steel and similar. The vessels are all either newly built or refurbished in 2016 with hot tubs and spacious, superbly designed, air-conditioned en-suite cabins with double or twin beds, 15 to 20 meters in size. Vessels of this category all feature spacious amenities including a sundeck, lounge and indoor and outdoor dining areas. As well as offering higher standard accommodation, cruises on Category Deluxe Superior also include Airport transfers, seven buffet breakfasts and seven four course lunches, drink with lunch, Captain's dinner with live music, dinner in a typical Croatian setting, sightseeing's, English speaking tour manager, various entrance fees, various tastings, Visitors' tax & port fees, luggage handling and a daily cabin service.

Day 1: Dubrovnik

Arrive in Gruz Harbour, Dubrovnik, and check in from 2pm this afternoon. Settle into your cabin and meet the crew and other guests. Transfer to the old city and afternoon guided city tour and Cable Car to the mountain Srđ. Return transfer to the Gruž harbor for dinner on board. Overnight in Dubrovnik.

Day 2: Dubrovnik - Mljet

After breakfast the ship continues towards the island and national park of Mljet. Lunch on board. Mljet is a beautiful, tranquil place and the whole afternoon is free to enjoy the seawater lakes in the National Park. In the middle of the large lake, i nside the National park, you can visit an old abbey and church, or take a small boat to roam around the National park. Dinner on board and overnight in the of port Polača or Pomena.

Day 3: Mljet - Hvar

Early morning departure towards the Paklenski islands in front of Hvar town where there will be enough time to relax and refresh in the clean, crystal blue sea. Arrive in Hvar after lunch, the longest island in the Adriatic. Hvar has numerous cafes, restaurants and bars, a Renaissance cathedral with its original tower and is also home to the oldest community theatre in Europe, founded in 1612. In the afternoon during a guided city tour you will visit the Tomić winery for wine tasting. The wine maker Andro Tomić will offer you some of his native Hvar wines and some cuvees like the innovative combination of Plavac Mali & Cabernet Sauvignon. Overnight in Hvar port.

Day 4: Hvar - Bol - Split

Leave Hvar and continue your cruise towards the island of Brač, more precisely to the town of Bol, best known for its famous Zlatni rat beach (Golden horn), a natural phenomenon that with its specific form dominates the other beaches of Croatia. Before lunch on board in Bol, enjoy wine tasting in the facilities of the oldest Dalmatia wine cooperative (dating 1903). Arrive in Split in the afternoon. Split is Croatia’s second city, a busy university and maritime town and the capital of the Dalmatia region. Split is a city under UNESCO protection, and its historical and cultural monuments are wondrous both to local inhabitants, but also to the many visitors who fall in love with this 1,000 plus year old beauty. Enjoy a guided city tour taking in all the main attractions.

Day 5: Split - Korcula

This morning the ship sails to Korčula, the birthplace of Marco Polo. Enjoy lunch on board and a swimming break in one of the bays en-route. Arrive in Korčula in the afternoon where you will later visit hotel Korsal's wine cellar and taste some of the famous Croatian wines and a light snack. Overnight in Korčula port.

Day 6: Korcula - Sipan

Early in the morning continue your trip towards the Elafiti islands, a group of islands west of Dubrovnik. They include Šipan, Lopud and Koločep (Kalamota). They attract many tourists with their beautiful scenery and sandy beaches. Swimming and lunch is planned at one of the smaller Elafiti islands. ŠIPAN, the largest island of the Elafiti, is also the most distant from Dubrovnik. This is where you will spend the night. Captain`s dinner on board.

Day 7: Sipan - Dubrovnik

As you enjoy breakfast the ship sails towards Dubrovnik, marvel at the beautiful natural sights along the way. Arrive back in Dubrovnik at approximately 2pm. Late afternoon you will visit the Konavle area and Crvik winery to sample a native Dalmatian wine sort ‘’Maraština''. Overnight in the Gruz port.

Day 8: Dubrovnik

After your final breakfast, disembark the ship in Dubrovnik.
