Croatian Coastal Cruises (Category B Ships)

The Croatian Coastal Fleet offers memorable cruises around the stunning Dalmatian coast. The fleet comprises 3 different categories of ship; the very basic Category B ships, the newly renovated Category A vessels, the Category A+ boats which offer a higher degree of comfort and service and lastly the Deluxe ships which offer luxurious cabins and public spaces combined with a high level of service. Category B ships are suited to young people, groups of friends or special interest groups looking for an affordable cruise on the brilliant Croatian shoreline. Bathrooms and toilets are located on deck and are shared by all passengers and accommodation is in cabins furnished with bunk beds. In common with all boats in the fleet, these ships have a large sun deck where you can relax, socialise and take in the wonderful Dalmatian scenery, as well as a lounge and dining area.

The category B ships offer basic, but comfortable, “no frills” accommodation as you sail around the glittering Dalmation coast dotted with both modern cities and pristine beaches. A cruise on this category of boat is perfect for younger travellers, as well as groups of friends and special interest groups looking for a great destination at an affordable price.

All basic needs on board these ships are provided for. Cabins are furnished with bunk beds and passengers share the bathrooms and toilets located on deck. There is a living area and a dining area where meals are served. Enjoy a continental breakfast in the morning and Croatian inspired fare for lunch, which, together, make up your half board basis. Unfortunately the crew cannot prepare special meals for vegetarians and those with special dietary needs, due to limited kitchen space. Vegetarians can be accommodated by substituting more side dishes for meat. For a fee, you can join in the Captain’s dinner held once a week The Sun Deck is the perfect place to enjoy the sun, the views and the company of other travelers. Your evenings are free to explore the area where the ship moors and you may wish to dine in one of the local restaurants for a truly Croatian experience.

Bring light, comfortable clothing on this informal cruise and a personal towel as well.  Don’t forget beach gear such as bathing suits, beach towels and sun cream. If you bring a sleeping bag you can enjoy a night under the stars on the deck.
