Croatian Coastal Cruises (Category B Ships)

Croatia Blue 18-35's - Southern Islands of Croatia from Split (8 Days)

The Croatian Coastal Fleet offers memorable cruises around the stunning Dalmatian coast. The fleet comprises 3 different categories of ship; the very basic Category B ships, the newly renovated Category A vessels, the Category A+ boats which offer a higher degree of comfort and service and lastly the Deluxe ships which offer luxurious cabins and public spaces combined with a high level of service. Category B ships are suited to young people, groups of friends or special interest groups looking for an affordable cruise on the brilliant Croatian shoreline. Bathrooms and toilets are located on deck and are shared by all passengers and accommodation is in cabins furnished with bunk beds. In common with all boats in the fleet, these ships have a large sun deck where you can relax, socialise and take in the wonderful Dalmatian scenery, as well as a lounge and dining area.





Embark the ship in Split.

Day 1: Split – Makarska

Board your ship just before lunch and meet your fellow passengers. Your voyage commences at 1pm, heading towards Makarska and cruising into Krilo Jesenice where you may wish to participate in some optional river rafting on the Centina River. Later, the ship will dock overnight in Makarska port, offering you a free evening to enjoy Makarska’s multi-coloured cave disco and assorted nightlife.

Day 2: Makarska – Korcula

The ship departs after breakfast and heads towards for Korcula, believed to be the birthplace of Marco Polo. Explore the picturesque city walls, the striking fishbone street alignment and enjoy fine Croatian wine included in the wine tasting. At nightfall, feel free to visit the Dos Locos bar and unwind with a cold beer or your favourite cocktail.

Day 3: Korcula – Dubrovnik

Depart the island of Korcula and cruise to the maritime town of Dubrovnik, leaving just enough time for a morning swim. Here you will tour the stone-studded streets with your guide, taking shade underneath the sun-baked red roofs, and walk through the history of this once independent republic. Explore the many quaint corridors that criss-cross through the squares, walk along the Dubrovnik walls or even request a special kayaking tour around the town. The ship will overnight here, allowing you to experience the golden lights of Dubrovnik nightlife, a spectacle that truly merits Dubrovnik’s reputation as one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

Day 4: Dubrovnik – Mljet

Today you will depart as your cruise continues for Mljet. The island of Mljet hosts the breathtakingly beautiful Mljet National Park, providing a perfect venue for exploring the crystalised salt water lakes and the rich green forests that align the white beaches. To discover other sights of the park, bicycles, scooters or cars are available for rent in the port of Pomena. After your adventurous day, take the evening off and relax with your fellow explorers as the craft moors overnight at Pomena or Polace.

Day 5: Mljet – Hvar

Depart for Hvar in the morning, stopping at the Pakleni Islands for a refreshing swim en route. Here you may wish to arrange a friendly volleyball tournament at the Carpe Diem Beach Bar before continuing to Hvar later in the day. Located off the Dalmatian coast, the bustling island of Hvar is known for its exuberant nightlife and wide variety of bars. Spend your evening walking through the colorful lights of the town, sampling bars such as Carpe Diem, Kiva, Sidro, Nautica, and many more besides.

Day 6: Hvar - Omis

Today you will have the chance to relax on the enchanting sand and pebbles of the golden cape beach in Bol on the island of Brac. After lunch you will travel to Omis, here you can join in with great adrenaline activities including zip lines. For the less adventurous you can take a stroll around the old city centre or have a relaxing swim. You will remain in Omis overnight and enjoy some of the local entertainment.

Day 7: Omis to Split

After breakfast you will head towards Split, full of a mountain of sights and shops, you will have the afternoon to explore all that Split has to offer. Home to the UNESCO protected Diocletian Palace which is known as "the heart of the city" it is one sight not to be missed.

Day 8: Split

Today your cruise will end in Split.


Disembark the ship in Split.
