Embark the ship in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Day 1: Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Join the Azora in Fort Lauderdal in the early evening. Often called the “Venice of America” for its many canals and waterways, Fort Lauderdale is a lovely place for a stroll. A trek along the Riverwalk reveals a tropical landscape lined with restaurants, art and entertainment and continues down Las Olas Boulevard for a posh shopping spree. There will be time to settle in to your luxury suite before your first gourmet dinner on board tonight. The ship will depart for Fort Lauderdale at 9pm.

Days 2-3: At Sea

Spend the next two days at sea as the ship sails towards the Dominican Republic. Life on board is laid back and casual, explore the ship's amenities perhaps sampling one of the variety of locally inspired spa treatments or take a refreshing dip in the infinity pool.

Day 4: Samaná, Dominican Republic

Arrive at Samaná, Dominican Republic, a region of verdant mountains, waterfalls, a beautiful bay and miles of pristine beaches. The port town of Santa Bárbara de Samaná overlooks Samaná Bay, where the annual winter gathering of thousands of Atlantic humpback whales is the top attraction.

Day 5: Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic

The ship continues onto Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, a big, energetic city with a vibrant urban culture. At its heart is the walled Zona Colonial, a compact district of cobblestone streets and graceful plazas lined with incredible heritage architecture, some dating to the early 1500s. There are many interesting attractions including the Catedral Primada de América, the ruins of the San Francisco monastery, and the original Spanish-built fortifications, as well as museums, shops and eateries.

Day 6: San Juan, Puerto Rico

Arrive at San Juan, the capital of Puerto Rico and an intriguing blend of the old and the new. Founded in 1521, the city was a key port in the Spanish colonial empire, as evidenced by El Morro, the huge fortress that guards the harbour. Close by are the renowned beaches of the Condado and Isla Verde, whose stretches of palm-fringed sands are lapped by the azure waves of the Atlantic. In the old town, San Juan retains its original character of blue cobblestone streets, elegant plazas and brightly colored heritage architecture.

Day 7: Vieques Island, Puerto Rico

Spend a full day at Vieques Island, Puerto Rico. You will discover stunning beaches, colourful coral reefs and the Caribbean’s largest wildlife preserve: incredible tropical nature is the essence of Vieques, a small island less than 10 miles off the east coast of Puerto Rico.

Day 8: Charlestown, Saint Kitts and Nevis

Arrive early afternoon at Charlestown, Saint Kitts and Nevis. Covered in rainforest and ringed with beaches, Nevis offers the quintessential Caribbean experience in a quiet, relaxing environment. The capital of Charlestown is a delight to explore on foot, its streets lined with 18th and 19th-century Georgian-style architecture that includes the Museum of Nevis History, housed in the birthplace of U.S. founding father Alexander Hamilton.

Day 9: Terre-de-Haut, Guadeloupe

Spend a full day at Terre-de-Haut, Guadeloupe, part of the Les Saintes volcanic archipelago. Small at just over two square miles, Terre-de-Haut is the most developed of the group, thanks to an anchorage-rich coastline of scenic bays, natural harbours, quiet beaches and charmingly picturesque villages.

Day 10: Fort-de-France, Martinique

Arrive at Fort-de-France, the largest city on the island of Martinique and home to elegant boutiques, a traditional covered market, cafés, patisseries, and restaurants serving fine island cuisine and classic French fare.

Day 11: Bridgetown, Barbados

Arrive in Bridgetown early morning where you will disembark after your final breakfast. Awaiting you is the well-preserved Old Town and historic Garrison district as well as the lush green island interior of forest and fields of sugar cane.
