Embark

Embark the ship in Cartagena.

Day 1: Cartagena

Join the Azora in Cartagena, the jewel of Colombia’s Caribbean coast, Cartagena, which brings together a rich heritage and dynamic culture with incomparable tropical charm. Narrow cobblestone streets lined with colourful Andalusian-style architecture – adorned with equally vibrant cascades of bougainvillea – are hallmarks of the 16th-century walled centre. Discover colonial churches, museums and an imposing hilltop fortress showcasing its storied past. Innovative restaurants, chic hotels and designer boutiques infuse historic Cartagena with new energy. Settle into your luxury suite and enjoy your first gourmet dinner aboard the ship. The departs at midnight.

Day 2: At Sea

Spend the day at sea as the ship sails towards Oranjestad, Aruba.

Day 3: Oranjestad, Aruba

Spend a full day at Oranjestad, Aruba where you can enjoy the gorgeous beaches, aquamarine waters, abundant sunshine and cooling trade winds. This Dutch island captivates with diverse outdoor options – world-class golfing, windsurfing, snorkeling and diving – the distinctly bent divi-divi trees and striking geological formations. The desert-like landscapes and rugged coastline of Arikok National Park are the focus of eco-explorations. Visit the colourful capital for shopping, restaurants and nightlife. Aruba’s fusion culture encompasses indigenous, European, African and Asian influences, a mix especially evident in its cuisine.

Day 4: At Sea

Spend the day at sea relaxing and enjoying the ship's many amenities as it sails towards St. Georges, Grenada.

Day 5: St. Georges, Grenada

Today the ship docks at St Georges, Grenada, the legendary Spice Isle, where nutmeg perfumes the air. Fort George guards the entrance to the colourful, pedestrian-friendly capital of St. Georges. The 18th-century garrison and the hilltop Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception offer the best views of the city and its picturesque harbour, the Carenage. This tiny island boasts more than 40 beaches around the island, from calm, secluded coves to windswept Bathway Beach on the Atlantic. Travel inland to discover its lush mountainous interior, a wonderful mix of fragrant spice plantations, rainforest and protected parkland whose natural sights include waterfalls, swimming holes and the great crater lake of Grand Etang.

Day 6: Carriacou, Grenada

Today the ship sails onto Carriacou, Grenada, part of the Grenadines chain. A hilly, rural island of villages, it is an off-the-beaten-track destination with fantastic snorkeling. Hillsborough is the main town, close to scenic west coast spots like Paradise Beach and the pretty anchorage at Tyrell Bay. The town’s Carriacou Museum is an introduction to the history and heritage that shape the vibrant local culture.

Day 7: Union Island, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines

Last stop in the Grenadines is Union Island located towards the southern end of the Grenadines chain. The island is a favourite getaway for sailors and adventurous travelers drawn to its unspoiled scenery and relaxed lifestyle. Chatham Bay, on Union’s west coast, is a secluded anchorage backed by steep, verdant hills topped by the ruins of an old fort. Along its quiet beach are bars and a restaurant frequented by locals and visitors alike.

Day 8: Bridgetown

Your tropical voyage ends in Bridgetown, a sophisticated tropical beauty steeped in English heritage and enlivened by the warm Bajan culture. In the capital of Bridgetown, the well-preserved Old Town and historic Garrison district represent an impressive British legacy designated a UNESCO World Heritage site.
