Amadeus Star

Tulip Serenade Cruise (8 Days)

The Amadeus Star is set to join the fleet from April 2019 and will travelling along the Rhine and Danube. The spacious and luxurious interior planning and design provides comfortable room for 164 passengers and offers all the luxuries of a floating 5-star hotel. The contemporary restaurant and Panorama-Bar offer wonderful views of the passing riverscapes, and the outdoor, glass-shielded River Terrace allows you to relax in the open regardless of the weather. Embark in Amsterdam at 16.00hrs

Day 1: Amsterdam

Arrive in Amsterdam and board your luxury Amadeus cruise ship from 4pm this afternoon. Unpack and settle into your cabin before joining the Captain and crew for a welcome cocktail and dinner on board the ship this evening. There will be traditional Shanty Choir onboard performance.

Day 2: Amsterdam

This morning there is an optional city tour of Amsterdam, incorporating a canal cruise and flower market. Alternatively, spend this time exploring the cosmopolitan city on your own. In the afternoon you may join an optional North Holland excursion.

Day 3: Arnhem

You arrive in Arnhem in the early afternoon. Here you may wish to join an optional half day tour of Arnhem and Airborne Museum Hartenstein. And in the afternoon an optional city tour of Arnhem and open-air museum in the afternoon is available.

Day 4: Middelburg

The ship arrives into the historic Dutch city of Middelburg today. From here you can join a fascinating optional excursion to the Deltaworks to learn about the Netherlands' struggle against the sea. Alternatively, remain in Middleburg and take an optional guided walking tour of the city.

Day 5: Ghent

Wake up this morning in Ghent harbour and join an optional city tour before lunch. During the afternoon you may wish to join a coach trip to picturesque Bruges for a guided tour, where you will be able to explore the history and culture associated with this fascinating city.

Day 6: Antwerp

You will arrive in Antwerp early today and will have the opportunity to join a city tour. Later, you may wish to take a coach trip to the Belgian capital of Brussels, famous for its beer, chocolate, grand architecture and of course, the Manneken Pis. In the evening you are invited to the Captain's Gala Dinner, complete with a show performed by the crew.

Day 7: Rotterdam

Arrive in Rotterdam this morning and join an optional tour to see Holland's largest concentration of windmills in Kinderdijk. Alternatively you may join an optional city of Rotterdam including visiting a food hall. In the afternoon you may wish to take an optional excursion to the world-famous flower displays at Keukenhof. Here you can see literally millions of flowers displayed with artistic perfection in a beautiful park setting. Later enjoy a scenic evening cruising through Rotterdam.

Day 8: Amsterdam

Your ship returns to Amsterdam where you will disembark the ship.
