Tulips Cruise in the Netherlands (from Cologne)

Embark the ship in Cologne.

Day 1: Cologne

Arrive in Cologne and board your luxury Amethyst cruise ship from 14:30hrs. Settle into your cabin and explore the range of onboard amenities. Join your fellow guests for a Welcome Cocktail before your Welcome Dinner is served in the restaurant.

Day 2: Enkhuizen

Arrive in the small dutch port town of Enkhuizen where your may explore the picturesque harbour and perhaps join an optional excursion 'Windmills and Cheese'. In Zaanstad you will visit the outdoor museum and Zaanse Schans, which reflects a typical village from the 17th and 18th century. Visit various old houses and souvenir shops, the windmills, the cheese dairy, the shipyard and the wooden shoe factory.

Day 3: Enkhuizen - Amsterdam

Early morning the ship departs from Enkhuizen arriving in Amsterdam at 09:00hrs. After breakfast you may choose to join an optional excursion to the famous flower park Keukenhof, home to millions flower bulbs of every variety planted annually. The park covers some 32 hectares and you will be able to enjoy inspiring gardens, unique artworks and spectacular flower shows. After lunch you have the opportunity to explore the sights of Amsterdam where you may choose to join an optional city tour. The tour will lead you through the new and old districts, to the Royal Palace of Amsterdam (Koninklijk Paleis), the Schreierstoren (originally part of the medieval city wall) and to the cathedral square - the heart of the city. In the evening enjoy a canal ride.

Day 4: Amsterdam - Rotterdam - Gorinchem

Depart Amsterdam in the early hours and arrive in the dynamic port city of Rotterdam at 09:00hrs. Explore at leisure or join an optional excursion visiting the main attractions including the city hall, the Cube hours and Erasmus Bridge. The excursion continues to the city of Delft in South Holland, known for its blue porcelain. Return to the ship as it departs for Gorinchem where you can enjoy some free time.

Day 5: Gorinchem - Arnhem

Arrive in Arnhem in the morning where you may join an optional city tour through the historical centre visiting St. Eusebius church, the Duivelshuis (devil‘s house), the Sabelspoort and the Presickhaeffs Huys. The ship departs Arnhem mid afternoon and in the evening enjoy a wonderful gala dinner with Ice Parade a la MS Alemannia.

Day 6: Cologne

Disembark in Cologne this morning after enjoying your final breakfast on board.
