La Vancelle is a Dutch barge built in 1929 in the Wolthuis Sappermeer boat yard in the north of Holland. La Vancelle has been the joy and contentment of her owners, Florence and Bernard Odinet. Today, she is waiting for you on the Canal du Midi, so that she can help you discover the freedom and joys of a canal cruise in the Midi. She comes equipped with all the comforts needed: a 4000 litre water tank, a water heater for hot water and heating, a cooker, an oven, a dish washer, a clothes washer and dryer, two fridges. For a touch of romance, there is also a piano on board. A corner kitchen, dining room and living room, three cabins, two with double beds and one with twin beds, each cabin with its own bathroom, means that six people can be accommodated in full comfort. The furnishings and interior finish are most often in exotic hard wood and give an authentic "sailing" ambience.
