Finland has hundreds of thousands of lakes, islands and inlets from the Bay of Finland in Scandinavia, and a long land border with Russia. You are never very far from a body of water and sailing – or just messing about in boats – plays a big part in the vacation plans of Fins, and new opportunities for exploring the country by boat are being developed all the time. Amongst numerous popular inland waterways is the 45-mile Tahko Boating Route between Kuopio and the lively resort of Tahko. Public areas onboard include a Fitness Center; Gift Shop; Library; Lounge with full-service bar and facilities for films, slide shows and presentations; and Swimming Pool. Our "Open Bridge" policy allows guests to learn about the art of navigation and state-of-the-art navigational equipment from our Captain and Officers. All meals are served in single seatings with unassigned tables for an informal atmosphere and easy mingling. Menu is international with local flair. All cabins face outside with windows or portholes. Each has private facilities and climate controls. Other special features on the boat include guest internet access, laundry service, LEXsalon, and Wellness Program. There is also a ship's doctor, an undersea specialist, and a video chronicler onboard.
