Savoir Faire
The Savoir Faire dates back to 1932 when she was built as a transport barge in the Belgian estuaries. During World War II, her bow was replaced with a landing bow so she could sail up on the beaches. She was sunk during the war but later lifted from the river bed and completely refurbished. In 1979, the Savoir Faire was brought to Holland where she underwent a total metamorphosis and was eventually converted into the elegant three-decked canal cruiser that she is today. Her six staterooms offer luxurious accommodation for 12 passengers who are attentively catered for by 6 English-speaking crew members. The salon, dining area and bar are furnished in Mahogany, teak and brass and further decorated with antiques and paintings. Last but not least, two spacious decks offer magnificent views of the passing countryside.
